Responsibilities
- Translate briefs and creative strategies into innovative concepts for interior design projects, ensuring seamless progression from conception to completion.
- Take ownership of design responsibilities and project coordination, managing multiple projects simultaneously with confidence and proficiency.
- Prepare layout test fits to aid in feasibility studies and produce schedules and presentations adhering to industry standards from initial design stages to final as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with Architect QP to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and effectively communicate ideas both internally and externally within the team.
- Collaborate closely with Clients, QS, and Project Managers to deliver a cohesive design and project delivery experience, including explanation of design details to construction teams.
- Conduct site supervision and inspection as needed, ensuring quality assurance and staying updated on design guidelines, trends, and materials.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in the related field, possessing a strong background in commercial interior design and technical expertise.
- Demonstrate understanding of the latest trends, materials, technologies, and industry practices.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
- Skilled in basic office software including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
