About Our Client
Our client is a global player in the oilfield services providing wireline logging technology solution. They are currently expanding their footprint into Singapore and looking for a highly dynamic leader to join them as Head of Supply Chain Operations to lead greenfield initiatives. This is a newly created role to identify their first senior leader in Singapore.
Job Description
- Provide executive leadership to manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Establish and monitor production metrics/budgets, project schedules and timelines.
- Develop efficient supply chain strategies for global logistics and distribution.
- Manage sourcing, vendor relationships and scalability initiatives.
- Develops and implements efficient supply chain strategies for the logistics and distribution of products globally, specifically China, Singapore, Middle East and USA.
- Oversees supply chain operations to ensure effective inventory management, timely delivery of materials to regional distributors.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize supply chain efficiency globally.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience with at least 10 to 15 years in business operations management ideally in oil& gas/ energy or electrical/ electronics manufacturing industry background
- Solid knowledge in plant management, operations, logistics and supply chain management
- Experience with setting up manufacturing plant/ greenfield setup
- Familiarity with local regulations and able to identify manufacturing facility
- Sound leadership skills, showcasing your ability to build cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence
- Self-starter, ready and motivated to build an operations structure and optimize it.
