Job Description
- Acting as the helpdesk support for the users, solve the level 1& 2 user problem, perform basic troubleshooting for users.
- Assists staff with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
- Log and resolve all service desk calls along with keeping end users updated and informed.
- Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software when required.
- Works with other countries IT support staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from users.
- Interact with computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file, email, application servers, and other related systems.
- Manage ongoing PC re-image program - currently using SCCM and Intune co-management
- Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
- Recommends and/ or performs upgrades on systems if necessary.
- Assist in the purchase, build and deployment of IT related hardware and software.
- Maintain all IT inventory by performing hardware and software audits.
The Successful Applicant
- Customer service focus
- Good technical knowledge and skills in Desktop support
- Experience working in a full Office365 environment
- Degree or TAFE Diploma in IT
- Microsoft Certified Professional (good to have)
- Experience with SCCM/Intune
