About Our Client

Our esteemed client is an multi-national organisation that distributes market-leading & branded consumer healthcare products & medicines to over 20 countries across the globe.

Job Description

  • Acting as the helpdesk support for the users, solve the level 1& 2 user problem, perform basic troubleshooting for users.
  • Assists staff with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
  • Log and resolve all service desk calls along with keeping end users updated and informed.
  • Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software when required.
  • Works with other countries IT support staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from users.
  • Interact with computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file, email, application servers, and other related systems.
  • Manage ongoing PC re-image program - currently using SCCM and Intune co-management
  • Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
  • Recommends and/ or performs upgrades on systems if necessary.
  • Assist in the purchase, build and deployment of IT related hardware and software.
  • Maintain all IT inventory by performing hardware and software audits.

The Successful Applicant

  • Customer service focus
  • Good technical knowledge and skills in Desktop support
  • Experience working in a full Office365 environment
  • Degree or TAFE Diploma in IT
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (good to have)
  • Experience with SCCM/Intune
