Job Description & Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES (E.g. Job Scope) :
Site engineers (for shaft and NATM works)
- Support Construction Manager in planning of site construction works
- Prepare all documentation including method statements and other submissions.
- Coordinate with various government/utility agency for initial site clearance.
- Work with team of engineers and supervisors to execute daily site works for DTSS works including ERSS (earth retaining wall structures) works, NATM(earth retaining wall structures), strutting works, RC works, and backfilling works.
- Report on daily issues to Construction Manager.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor work progress at site.
- Continuously ensure adherence to planned timelines.
- Maintain and monitor quality controls.
- Prepare and submit all daily/weekly reports as required.
- Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.
- Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site
- Liaise with authorities, consultants and subcontractors.
REQUIREMENT (E.g. Qualifications, Certifications, Experience) :
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in handling ERSS (earth retaining wall structures)works, NATM(earth retaining wall structures), strutting works, RC works, and backfilling works
- Obtain The WSQ-Supervise Construction Work for WSH (BCSS) course
- candidate must be able to accept 1 year contract terms subject to renewable basis.
