Your Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer II to join our team, with a specialization in MES Camstar. This role is crucial for driving process improvements, lean transformation, and simplifying manufacturing processes through effective integration and optimization of MES Camstar. The ideal candidate will be adept at utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and contribute to the overall productivity of our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- MES Camstar Implementation and Optimization:
- Serve as the primary engineer for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of MES Camstar solutions.
- Ensure MES Camstar integration aligns with manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Conduct regular system audits and updates to maintain optimal performance of MES applications.
- Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies, such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, or 5S, to drive process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify complexities and redundancies. Propose and implement strategies to simplify these processes.
- Facilitate the integration of new technologies or process changes, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation to support training and process standardization.
- Work closely with IT, production, quality, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless integration of MES Camstar with existing processes.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the system and understanding the processes.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to report progress, results, and future plans.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing process engineering role, with a strong focus on MES, preferably Camstar.
- Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing principles and achieving tangible improvements.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and systems integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
