About the role
We are looking for a Manager - Front Office to provide functional expertise & oversee management of financial risk management, surplus cash investments, and intercompany funding through execution of trades and other supporting activities. This role is also expected to be the Commercial Treasury’s center of expertise for group-wide projects and initiatives.
Reporting to the Director - Front Office, you will be handling:
Operational Excellence
- Provide expertise for execution of financial products (FX, interest rates, investments).
- Manage the Group’s daily foreign exchange requirements.
- Responsible for investing in the Group’s surplus cash in line with the Group investment strategy and risk framework.
- Manage and ensure adherence to financial counterparty exposures.
- Manage intercompany loans and structures.
- Manage and ensure adherence to a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Treasury Markets activities.
- Evaluate and recommend banking products, services, and platforms as appropriate.
Advisory and Analytical
- Commercial Treasury secondary point of contact and center of expertise for group-wide projects/initiatives (e.g. M&A, divestments, corporate debt, etc.)
- Serve as the primary contact to assist business units in matters relating to investments and financial risk management then develop solutions to such requirements.
- Provide proposals and drive strategy to business units about the management of financial risks (foreign exchange, interest rates, investment risk).
- Lead, recommend, and implement improvements to Group investment strategy and risk frameworks.
- Lead, develop, and implement financial risk management strategies for the Group, and business units.
- Keep abreast with Financial Market events, regulatory changes, market product developments, and pricing.
- Anticipates market and/or regulatory changes and strategies and implements improvements to existing processes; provides market intelligence and the insights needed to anticipate competitor actions with our client’s impact.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, CFA, CPA, MBA, or certified Treasury Professional preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in multinational corporate treasury.
- Proven leadership skills in previous roles leading global teams in treasury operations, treasury markets, cash, and treasury risk management.
- Demonstrates expertise and knowledge of treasury, capital and money markets, finance, and debt & risk management.
