Role Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for setting up the organization's new Dialysis Centres. You will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and completion of all aspects related to the centre's development. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various stakeholders, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure the centre is operational on time and delivers the highest standards of patient care. This is a one year contract role with the possibility of being converted into a permanent position.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Project Planning and Execution

  • Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining key milestones, tasks, and timelines for the establishment of MTFA’s two new kidney dialysis centres.
  • Lead the execution of the project plan, ensuring adherence to timelines and efficient allocation of resources.
  • Monitor and track progress regularly, identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure timely completion.

2. Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including medical staff, operations, IT and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of project goals.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate smooth project implementation and compliance.

3. Budget and Resource Management

  • Establish and manage the project budget, ensuring prudent allocation of funds and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Procure necessary resources, equipment, and supplies in coordination with the procurement team, maintaining quality and cost-effectiveness.

4.Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and healthcare standards during the centre's setup.
  • Implement quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.

5. Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project delivery and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks effectively.

6. Reporting and Documentation:

  • Provide regular written reports and presentations to the Executive Director and senior management team, highlighting progress, challenges, and key milestones achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operation Management, or related field.
  • Familiarity in the healthcare industry, preferably with experience in setting up medical facilities.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proactive problem-solving capabilities and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards in Singapore.
  • Willing to actively shuttle between worksites locally, as well as occasional travel regionally, to accomplish the project’s goals.
