Our client, with over 30 years of history & one of the leading M&E engineering companies in Singapore, is looking for Construction Manager with experience in the construction industry.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage construction activities and progress independently.
- Able to understand electrical drawing, specifications and requirements.
- Plan, organize and set up site and sequential job planning for the smooth execution of projects to achieve cost, quality, timelines and customer satisfaction objectives.
- Carry out resource planning for project such as site staff, subcontractors, etc to ensure their effective deployment.
- Attend project kick off meeting, project team meeting, etc and updates on progress.
- Monitor all site staff, workers and subcontractor performance.
- Control materials, tools and equipment ordered and delivered.
- Ensure all discrepancies in drawings must be identified and cleared with consultants prior to site job progress.
- Manage all site staff and subcontractor schedule.
- Prepare and routinely upkeep Project Construction Plan, site access plan, hoisting plan, temporary utilities plan, temporary office, holding areas, etc.
- Ensure adequate quality control measures either via on-site/off-site inspection and all completion/pre-handover inspections.
- Check that approved /correct materials are used within specifications/certifications submitted, recorded and approved.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Proven track records of successful project completion on time and on budget.
- Good people skill and team player
- Having knowledge or certification in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) will be added advantage.
