- Tender for new projects
- Liaise with the authorities, the clients and the consultants on project progress and ensure delivery of project is on or ahead of time
- Familiar with the project cycle from commencement to handing over procedures with the authorities.
- Review progress against plans, contractual arrangements and delivery milestones to ensure they are on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and take effective remedial action as required.
- Assign resources to deliver the works within budget, time, quality and regulatory standards, monitor and guide workflow, setting daily, weekly and long-term project goals.
- Monitor staff and labour resourcing to ensure the project has the capability to achieve targets, supervise workforce, including subcontractors and foster a high performance team with a positive employee relations environment.
- Familiar with local legislation, basic practices, and prevailing regulatory laws and acts relating to fire safety, workplace safety and health, and other statistical reporting in the industry. Ensure strict adherence to such common laws and nationally recognized standards and deadlines.
- Demonstrate leadership in risk management, compliance and auditing and ensure legislative, pre-contract and commercial obligations are met, including compliance with the relevant Building Code.
- CERT Project Management / Building or its equivalent
- Minimum 8 Years working experience in construction industry at senior position.
- Strong communication skill with the relevant authorities, the client and the consultants
- Strong leadership in managing project teams
- Able to work as team player as well as function as team leader
