Job Responsibilities:
- Establish, implement and maintain the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS)
- Support departments to review their risk assessments to identify foreseeable hazards and risks as well as propose reasonably practicable measures to eliminate/reduce the risks to as low as reasonably practicable
- Conduct and manage the WSH Committee Inspections & Meetings as well as other safety & health site inspections to create a safe working environment and follow-up to close findings raised
- Develop and conduct Safety & Health related Trainings to relevant personnel (employees/contractors) to enhance their safety knowledge & awareness to carry out the work safely
- Conduct incident investigations and ensure proper closure of the corrective actions
- Support Fire Safety Manager (FSM) on Emergency Response & Fire Safety related matters and act as backup during the absence of FSM
- Support the Safety Case Lead and relevant departments in the preparation of Safety Case
Job Requirement:
- Possess minimum 2-3 years working experience in a process manufacturing industry Especially plant maintenance experience
- Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO)
