Job Responsibilities:
- To be responsible managing and implementing multiple projects with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements
- Work closely with Business Development/ Sales Team for tender/quotation
- Providing overall leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving targets efficiently
- Manage project activities to ensure timely delivery, including identification of critical path, monitoring and driving completion of interdependent activities and adjustment to project schedules to achieve overall completion deadline
- Escalate and discuss project overrun issues, scope creep, integration issues, resource requirements with clients and/or Management
- Manage day-to-day client relationship, translate customer contract into a comprehensive project plan and manage end to end delivery that includes performing project office tasks, co-ordination of internal resources, status reporting, billing, etc
- Actively manage project conflicts, dependencies changes to scope, cost or schedule, risks and issues, and ensure plans are in place to mitigate them with urgency, and communicate these to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
- Development and presentation of project plans, respond to Clients
- Liaison with the Shipyard, Classification society, Vendors & Clients
- Weekly progress reporting to Client & Management
- Manage resources including hardware, software, human resource facilities and logistics required for project so as to ensure completion within budget
- Define project resources, performance reviews and post implementation evaluations
- Provide the project team with accurate information about business needs and priorities as well as details about existing business systems
- Delegate tasks effectively by providing clear and specific instructions and goals
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Diploma/Degree in Marine / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in ship design / shipbuilding industry
