Join our team as a Network Engineer and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless technical operations. Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Providing technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, facilitating smooth handovers and maintaining accurate system documentation for our Maintenance support team.
- Collaborating with back-line support and vendor resources to diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Delivering post-sales installation and technical support directly to customers, guaranteeing efficient and effective network performance.
- Designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining our network and security infrastructure, including core switches, routers, and firewalls, to uphold the highest standards of reliability and security.
- Contributing to the planning, design, research, and installation of new or upgraded network hardware and software, driving innovation and efficiency.
- Demonstrating proficiency with Aruba switches and wireless technologies, as well as Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches, to optimize our network architecture.
- Utilizing strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve problems swiftly, providing effective workarounds and recommendations to maintain operational continuity.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- At least ITE/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/BEng/BSc in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunication, or a related field, showcasing dedication to technical excellence.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches, with a solid understanding of network systems, architecture, routing, switching, firewall, and security.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
- Candidates with CCNA, CCNP, and Aruba product certifications will have an added advantage, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and expertise in leading technologies
