Our Client is a MNC from Electrical and Electronics Manufacturing industry. They are looking for a Purchasing Manager to assist their Purchasing team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in East – easily accessible.
Duties
- Lead a team of product buyers to ensure effective purchasing, planning, negotiating, and timely delivery.
- Manage inventory to meet targets, ensuring it's well-stocked, cost-effective, and meets customer needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and customers to support sales and product-related activities.
- Maintain accurate product information and system integrity.
- Develop and implement plans focusing on customer/supplier issues, market forecasts, and technological advancements; cultivate strong supplier relationships.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience with Supplier Marketing, Distribution or Asset/Inventory Management of which 2 years of managing a team
- Working Knowledge of electronics components in passive product will be added advantage
