Position: Manufacturing Team Lead
Working Hours: Normal Shift Work
Working Place: West Singapore
Job Summary:
- Manage the DCOE Manufacturing group which is responsible for providing the technical support for the assembly and testing process. This includes routing, process design, fixture designs, technician qualification and quotation and tender support
- Responsible for the manufacturing process safety, quality, and cost in the DCOE manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with all managers to meet the safety, quality, delivery, and cost target / budget as planned.
- Drive process improvements through the usage of CMS and Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Supervise and manage technicians and their workload to deliver production results. Manage day to day production activities
- Chair toolbox meetings, objective setting and performance review for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct and coordinate manufacturing activities to achieve on time delivery in a cost-effective manner while maintaining consistent standards of quality
- Direct and assign activities and resources to manufacturing technicians/ engineers to support the production in the DCOE facility
- Review the performance of the shop and work with shop team to achieve the target / objective.
- Facilitate and work on the Management of CAPEX for the DCOE Team.
- Represent DCOE team for continuous improvement using CMS, lean six sigma methodologies and other continuous improvement methodologies
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- 2 to 3 years in a supervisory position in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in Six Sigma, lean manufacturing and other advanced manufacturing technology includes best manufacturing practices of lean six sigma and Kaizen.
- Strong leadership qualities with proven track record and result on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Analytical and familiar with the application of manufacturing technology with latest development in the sector.
