COS - Regional Store Sales Controller

As the Regional Store Sales Controller main task and responsibility is to optimize the growth and profitability for the physical stores. To achieve this you create a strategy, set goals and actions, share expectations, follow-up and together with the Regional Sales Manager secure the long-term success of the local markets. You maintain a constant collaboration with the Regional Brand Controller, Cross functional teams within region, COS Head office departments and the backbone departments of the local H&M group.

What you will do:

  • Lead and coach your team of area controllers to make good business decisions based on supporting analysis and financial insights.
  • Analyse, propose and implement operational strategies through proactive business controlling.
  • Oversee the short and long term budgets & financial plans for physical stores within the region.
  • Analyse and pursue opportunities to increase sales and improve profit through right planning and managing cost efficiency
  • Support the annual goal setting & strategic planning process within the regional sales organization.
  • Facilitate constructive communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing among our stores, area teams and other support functions.
  • Lead and manage your team of controllers and develop a succession and talent management strategy.

What you need to succeed

  • Previous experience working in a controlling or analytical role
  • Good understanding of budgeting, re-forecasting and planning processes, preferably within retail industry
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proven organizational, analytical and decision making abilities
  • Sales driven and result oriented
  • Willingness to travel (Up to 30% of time)
  • Ability to use own initiative and work as part of the team
  • Leadership experience of managing team is preferred
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and English language skills, both verbal & written

This is a full time permanent contract based at our Regional Office in Singapore

In this role you will be able to take advantage of a hybrid working arrangement. You will have the flexibility to work both remotely and, from the office.
