Wallem is hiring a Learning & Development professional! The ideal candidate will contribute to the success of the Group Learning and Development strategy and priorities for our employees.
Training Supervision and Administration
- Act as a training consultant to internal clients and address employees' training and development needs and inquiries
- Contribute to the implementation of the Group training plan, policies and procedures
- Contribute to the update and maintenance of the Group Learning Management System
- Coordinate and liaise with internal/external stakeholders on the logistics and implementation, such as organizing training schedules and venues, production of training materials, expense and evaluation reports, etc., for all learning and development initiatives across the Group
- Track, organize and manage internal clients’ training records
- Report on training attendance and feedback on a periodic basis
- Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements
- Monitor, document and report the Group learning and development budget utilization on a periodic basis
- Participate in the procurement process for training services selection to ensure the service providers meet the Group’s expectations
- Support the supervision of the administration, launch and reporting of the Group eLearning courses and work performance of the Training Designer
Training Delivery
- Deliver the induction training courses for new joiners
- Co-deliver Train-the-Trainer workshop for internal trainers
- Prepare/rehearse prior to delivering the assigned training programmes to ensure they are efficiently and effectively delivered at a high standard
Training Design
- Contribute to the training needs analysis by taking approaches such as conducting interviews and focus group meetings, analyze feedback and information collected from internal clients’ annual appraisals and engagement survey, etc.
- Contribute to the planning of the Group learning and development plan and priorities would be advantageous
- Contribute to the design of business-skills programmes in accordance with the Group learning and development plan
Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor in Human Resources Management/ training & development or related disciplines
- Minimum 4 years experience in training and development gained from a cross-cultural environment
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors’ learning management system is a plus
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Great organizing and coordinating skills
- Agile to change and open-minded
