We deal mainly in the Chemical, Petrochemical and other Industrial Establishment.
Due to the expansion of the industry, we would like to invite candidates to join our Company.
Responsibilities:
- Work at oil/petrochemical plant as a member of Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Team.
- Work on daily maintenance work (e.g., calibration of instruments and analysers, cleaning instruments’ sampling lines, greasing motors, visual inspection for substation equipment) in the plant in operation.
- Work on breakdown maintenance work (e.g., replacement of instrument and control valves, calibration of instruments, replacement of motors, troubleshooting malfunction of control panels, assistance of plant emergency shutdown, assistance of plant re-start-up) in the plant.
- Work on shutdown maintenance work (e.g., Lock-out Tag-out, replacement of equipment, calibration of instruments and analysers, assistance of vendors’ maintenance work) in the plant.
- Understand function of instruments (e.g., pressure transmitter, mass-flow meter, thermo-couple, control valve, density meter, pH meter, solenoid valve) in the plant.
- Understand function of electrical equipment (e.g., motor, switch-gear, motor control centre, UPS, power distribution board, local control panel) in the plant.
- Understand DCS system.
- Assist client’s engineers in planning their modification, expansion and improvement work.
- Assist plant operators’ activities according to their request.
- Understand relevant drawings like electrical single line diagram, sequence diagram and P&ID Diagram
- Update technical documents.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical or Electronics.
- Communication (Spoken and Written) in English.
- Computer skills - Excel, Word.
- Work in Jurong Island.
- Work overtime for breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
- Respond to emergency on-call before / after normal working hours.
- Working hour; from 8 am to 5 pm on weekdays; from 8 am to 12 pm on Saturday.
