- Responsible for the preparations of tenders documents, managing of the tendering process, evaluation of vendor bids and the awarding of contracts
- Able to lead and resolve all conflict, manage project documentation, planning, coordination with sub-contractors and vendors
- Responsible for clarifying and negotiating with vendors on contractual terms, service levels and pricing
- Provide contractual advice to various functional teams and formulate contractual arrangement for the business requirements
- Develop and implement robust policies, procedures in relations to procurement and contracting
- Initiate and establish framework agreements and terms contracts for frequently purchase products and services
- Liaise with legal team on contractual terms when necessary
- Drafts and reviews purchase contracts to ensure relevance to market trends and also prepares monthly Status reports for management review
- Responsible for the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
- Identifies potential suppliers for price quotations, product information and delivery schedules to ensure supplier/ materials are available on time
- Establishes and maintains good relationships with suppliers to negotiate for the best terms
- Monitor supplier performance in terms on -time delivery, quality and cost
- Support the service delivery or project team managing resources, projects and budgets to meet the goals of the business and clients
- To submit Claims and check / certify progress claims to subcon
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate should possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Business administration, Procurement, Engineering or other relevant degree
- Minimum 7 years of M &E Industry relevant working experience in procurement, in particular contracts and tendering
- Resourceful, good communication skills and team player
- Resourceful, dynamic and well equipped with negotiation skills
- Strong in MS Excel to collate, create and self disciplined
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
