Software and DevOps Engineer (C#)
Our client, a global MNC is looking for a talented Software and DevOps Engineer to join the team and collaborate with team members to develop and maintain a globally distributed software ecosystem supporting the production and servicing of sophisticated high-tech instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust software applications using C#/.NET (core).
- Design, implement, and optimize Docker-based deployment pipelines for our software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software applications through continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices.
- Implement DevOps best practices to streamline development workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and deployment in production environments.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and DevOps roles.
- Proficiency in C#/.NET (core) programming language and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Docker containers and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry or developing solutions for manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
