Main purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the patching and vulnerability management of all Citrix environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Expertise in the area of Citrix XenApp 6.x / 7.x & XenDesktop 7.x.
- Expertise in Citrix Storefront / Netscaler load balancing and gateway.
- Hands on experience with Appsense profile management solution in Citrix environment.
- Experience in Citrix Patching.
- Experience in Process Automation (SIP).
- One or more of the common packaging technologies App V.
- Experience in Application upgrades and deployments using Altiris.
- Good scripting knowledge on Powershell and VB script.
- Experience/Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment.
- Experience on Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks.
- Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.) (Should have basic knowledge).
- Knowledge on Clustering (geo cluster, multinodes passive/active) ( Should have basic knowledge).
- Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades.
- Log monitoring/maintenance.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
- 9-13 years of Experience in Citrix Administration.
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal Skills.
- The candidate should have worked in a SLA driven environment.
- Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment
- Able to work on weekends as per Roster and perform On-call support (during weekdays) as and when needed.
