Responsibilities:
- Analyse information on business environment and merchandising landscape
- Analyse product sales, stock turnover rate and inventory level
- Implement product category's private label's and/or house brand's product range and assortment plans, pricing and promotional plans
- Review private label and/or house brand product quality
- Analyse information on target segment
- Consolidate information to forecast merchandise demand
- Analyse cost of merchandise
- Contribute to merchandise and material sourcing
- Coordinate production of new products
- Monitor costs and adhere to budget allocation
- Administer purchase orders and payment process while working together with finance team on payment issues.
- Engage in cost-saving efforts
- Maintain business partnerships
- Provide feedback on quality and effectiveness of partnership
- Organise relevant information for negotiations with partners
- Analyse information on shoppers' profiles
- Ensure data entry of all inventories and items are true to suppliers.
- Ensure sales team are using the correct item codes as well.
- Ensure inventory level are true and work together with Sales Admin and matches on data along with physical items. This is also after receiving delivery updates from sales admin.
- Engage with forwarder or courier customer service to plan shipping schedules accordingly to fulfill orders.
Requirements:
- Minimum O-level / Diploma.
- At least 1 year & above of working experience in a related field
- Good working attitude, communication and negotiation skill.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer and service practices.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and good communication skills in English.
- Possess strong project management skills.
- Must be self motivated, organised, responsible, hardworking and independent.
- Good working attitude, willing to learn and a good team player.
- Proficient in Ms Words/Excel/Powerpoint.
