Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to ensure they meet performance expectations and deliver excellent customer service.
- Lead by example and foster a positive and inclusive work environment where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Customer Service:
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and ensure that all team members prioritize customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and offer assistance with purchasing decisions.
3. Store Operations:
- Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, security checks, and ensuring the store is properly secured.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and conducting regular stock counts.
- Monitor merchandise displays and ensure they are visually appealing and comply with company standards.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and labour management to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
4. Sales and Performance Metrics:
- Achieving sales targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
- Analyse sales data and identify opportunities to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Implement strategies to drive sales and meet or exceed performance goals.
- Monitor employee performance metrics and provide regular feedback and coaching to help improve individual and team performance.
Qualifications:
- “O” Level, higher secondary, diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience, including supervisory or leadership roles, is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with retail POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Flexibility to working shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
