Job Responsibilities
- Design and direct workout programs that are customized to the member's needs and goals, conduct small group classes,.
- Demonstrate the use of gym equipment, observe the members' exercises and correct any improper techniques
- Maintain equipment and administer first-aid when necessary.
- Provide quality service at the gym floor and front of house.
- Be good communicators and advocates fitness
- Adaptive at coordinating schedules and managing time wisely.
- Utilize and implement new technologies, equipment and techniques effectively.
Minimum Qualifications/ Requirements
- Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills with an out going personality
- Passion for fitness
- Able to work shifts
Preferred Qualifications/ Requirements
- Preferably with recognized Personal Training qualification (ACE, FITSAF, FIC, BEC etc.); candidate with degree or diploma in sport science would have an added advantage
- Training will be provided for those without personal training certifications but with interest and passion in fitness.
