Job title: Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer Intern

Internship Project:
We seek a highly motivated and technically skilled intern to join our research & development team. You will be contributing to an innovative project focused on developing advanced screening technologies using machine learning (ML) and natural language processing (NLP). This role offers the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies in a real-world setting, making a tangible impact on our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and refinement of ML/DL models for real-time/batch screening, including data preprocessing, model training, and evaluation
- Collaborate with the team to generate synthetic data using large language models like GPT-4 for training and testing
- Assist in benchmarking and evaluating the performance of different models and approaches
- Document research findings and contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations
About You:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning, natural language processing, and deep learning
- Experience with programming languages like Python and frameworks like PyTorch, Transformer, SentenceTransformers
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and ML
