Responsibilities:
1. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
2. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Present financial reports to senior management, board of directors, and other stakeholders as required.
3. Cost Control and Optimization:
- Analyze costs and expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Implement cost control measures and monitor their effectiveness.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop strategies for optimizing costs while maintaining operational excellence.
4. Strategic Financial Advice:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning processes and provide financial analysis to assess the feasibility and impact of proposed strategies and initiatives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their potential risks and returns.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
· Proven experience (6 years) in a similar role, preferably in a corporate finance or accounting environment.
· In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
· Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
· Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software systems.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
· Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of financial integrity and compliance.
· Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
