Position Profile:
Based in: Singapore
The successful candidate will: be overseeing departmental operations. This role emphasises leading by example, fostering effective communication, driving continuous improvement, and supervising the team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Efficiently coordinate material and manpower resources to meet daily operational needs
- Identify opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives
- Address non-conformance (NCR) issues and closely monitor production performance
- Foster the sharing of process knowledge to ensure consistent quality and performance
- Collaborate with the Process Engineering Team, Operators and Superiors for process improvements, address work conditions and resolve issues
- Maintain and update the Quality Management System and Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor daily operations to ensure seamless process flow
- Implement strategies to minimise waste in the production process
- Assist in facilitating the transfer or setup of new items from the main factory
- Conduct risk assessments to identify and understand potential hazards associated with machine operations
- Monitor and maintain standards for production quality and yield
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors
Ability / Competency Required:
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing or Engineering related field
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration and able to work independently
- Positive attitude in challenging work environment
