· Prepare weekly and monthly accounting, investment and financial reports, including NAV, portfolio performance, valuation of investment (mark-to-market), account reconciliations and reasonableness check
· Prepare monthly rental invoices to tenants and monitor collection status.
· Review invoices, prepare payment vouchers, process payments and monitor payment status.
· Review capital call notices, prepare capital call memorandums, process capital call payments and monitor payment status.
· Review and coordinate the preparation of management account, GST computation, tax computation and other regulatory filings such as fund’s annual declaration form.
· Monitor cash, loan and investments and prepare risk analysis for the investments.
· Extract data from Bloomberg and prepare spreadsheets and analysis reports.
· Explore opportunities for investment - collect information, perform research, and analyze investments
· Seek, introduce and do initial screening of new investment opportunities as and when
· needed.
· Understand investment valuation methodology for different asset class to ensure absolute accuracy in preparation of reports.
· Ensure that issues or discrepancies are escalated, investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
· Ensure accounts and bookkeeping are accurate to support management in decision-making.
· Maintain files, records and a systematic filing system of the company.
· Prepare projections, forecast and other necessary reports in case of need.
· Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
· Degree in Accounting, Finance or any other professional accounting equivalent.
· Minimum 3 – 5 years of related working experience in fund administration/fund accounting/Financial Service/Asset Management industries.
· Extensive and proven fund accounting experience.
· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office application especially in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient in English communication (both oral and written); proficient in Mandarin communication will be an advantage.
