Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Sales Executive will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks of promoting warehousing services to potential clients and developing relationships with existing clients to foster additional business opportunities.
- Acquire new business accounts from the general pool of RFQ / tender and via personal network.
- Answer new business inquiries and follow up on closure.
- Attend site surveys, conduct meetings, and set up after-sales onboarding operations.
- Possess adept knowledge of project cargo operations, trucking operations, and preferably warehousing.
- Generate reports for management review on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Review warehouse processes for optimization and lead Management of Change.
- Adhere to all company rules and regulations including safety rules.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Minimum a Diploma in Business Management, Logistics or related field
- At least 1 year’s relevant sales experience in project cargo operations, project cargo trucking and warehousing in a third-party logistics industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand and analyze client needs
- Target oriented and strive to achieve goals
