Senior Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Simply Hamper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement processes, including supplier negotiation, inventory management, and quality assurance of products. This role requires a strategic thinker who can work independently, efficiently manage our supply chain operations, and contribute to the company's success through cost-effective procurement strategies.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient procurement strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure the quality of products.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
  • Manage supplier relationships, evaluating performance and compliance, to ensure they meet Simply Hamper's standards and requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis to anticipate trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and improvement in supply chain efficiency.
  • Oversee the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of products.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Independently handle procurement tasks, demonstrating self-sufficiency and the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.

Requirements:


  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing procurement processes independently.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
