Job Description
- Perform end to end accounts payable and employee payable process.
- Prepare and manage cash flow forecast and banking interfaces.
- Manage receivables, intercompany reconciliation, fixed assets, bank reconciliation.
- Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Perform month end close including preparation and analysis of Balance Sheet/ Profit & Loss and financial / management reports.
- Prepare actuals vs budget travel and entertainment reports.
- Liaise with auditors (internal, external, SOX compliance), tax agents, bankers and other statutory bodies.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders on any issue resolutions.
- Prepare standard operating procedures and provide guidance to employees on policies and procedures.
- Drive improvements to streamline processes and enhance controls.
- Other ad-hoc tasks and projects.
- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in general accounting, especially in accounts/employee payables in a multi-country global organization.
- Understand accounting outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Taxes (VAT/ WHT) of Asia Pacific countries.
- Experience working with outsourced teams.
- Shared Services experience a plus.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team with people from different countries and cultures.
- Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP system
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines.
