The successful candidate will work with the Tax team and other business lines in KPMG Singapore and Korea to proactively develop and execute markets strategy to maximise growth and achieve targeted results. You will be able to contribute to the growth and development of the tax practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for excellent client support and service delivery.
The role involves:
• Developing new and maintaining long term relationship and identifying business development opportunities
• Work closely with the KPMG multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that goals and objectives of business development requests are addressed
• Monitor competitors’ current marketing activities and developments, trends and product offerings in order to maintain, improve and lead market share
• Providing support in Singapore and Japanese corporate tax projects to the engagement teams
• Participating in clients meetings, presentations, seminars, external events, etc
• Building and leveraging on external networks and relationships with trade associations and KPMG network
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Accounting, Financial Management or Business Studies
- Highly motivated, persistent, results driven attitude and able to overcome barriers and get results through people
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and a keen sense in dealing with numbers
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Excellent grasp of International taxation focusing in Singapore and Korea tax regime
- Must be proficient in both spoken / written English and Korean to communicate with our clients, including Korean clients.
