Job Description
- Collaborate on a daily basis with product managers to understand business requirements, user experience goals and pain points
- Build prototypes to assess solution viability and validate user desirability
- Write production quality code in TypeScript
- Identify and troubleshoot interface software and application issues
- Advocate and explain technical ideas to team members and co-workers
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors
Job Requirements
Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with at least 2 years of working experience. Candidates with other degrees but able to demonstrate necessary competency will also be considered.
- Demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript and the following libraries/frameworks/technologies is a must:
- React
- Next.js (familiarity with both pages + app router paradigms)
- Tailwind CSS
- MongoDB
- Git
- REST APIs (be able to use libraries to manage fetching)
- Auth0 or similar OAuth2.0 authentication & authorization services
- Familiarity with deploying to ECS on AWS is a bonus
Soft Skills:
- Professional and consultative mindset with commitment for excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (both written and oral).
- Ability to come up with creative solutions for ambiguous problems and learn quickly.
- Ability to patiently explain the technology and products to customers in crisp and concise layman’s terms.
