We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Officer to join our team. As a Reservations Officer, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of the hotel's reservation process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
- Assist guests in making reservations, providing accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities
- Process reservations and input guest information into the hotel's reservation system
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes
- Manage room inventory and make adjustments as necessary to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Handle special requests and ensure that guest preferences are noted and communicated to the appropriate departments
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively assist guests and provide accurate information
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to promote hotel packages and special offers
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as generating reports, maintaining reservation records, and processing payments
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling reservations and guest information
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle high call volumes
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and reservation management systems
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
