We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Assurance Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
- Support to manage business risks within Client Acquisition and Direct Sales to minimize potential regulatory breaches and operational losses due to failure of people and procedures. This includes identifying emerging risk issues and associated controls and procedures to supplement FIM and BIM (Business Implementation Manual)
- Implement the established governance framework by conducting periodic Key Control Assessments and testing on different processes within all sales channels and operations team; Compare current practices as against procedural expectation and identify gaps, quick fix items, high level issues, remediation actions; target timeline and responsible person
- Raise gaps or issues on non-compliance including procedural lapses, report and escalate issues. Collaborate with respective channel on action items and remediation
- Summarise and submit results of monthly key control assessments for reporting in department management meeting, or escalation to other forums where required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Over 2 years of experience in risk management function
- Knowledge and experience in retail banking operations will be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate analytical and documentation skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
