Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Team Lead IT Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the infrastructure architecture, system performance, and overall operational environment for both on-premise and cloud computing platforms. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support infrastructure architecture, resource planning, and system performance for on-premise infrastructure and cloud computing platforms.
- Lead the development of application infrastructure reference architecture and system integration practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Infrastructure team regarding operational support for systems-related matters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including OS, Databases, Application Services, and network configuration.
- Manage both on-premise and Cloud infrastructure services to support application systems environments, collaborating closely with the application team.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams or external vendors as needed.
- Record system incident events, including causes and resolutions, and prepare incident reports.
- Drive Architecture Review and Governance Process to ensure smooth and sustainable operations.
- Provide application support, responding promptly and professionally to user inquiries and requests for assistance.
- Assist users with application configuration and setup, escalating complex issues to the development or other technical teams when necessary.
- Document and track all support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Manage day-to-day team operations, including task assignments, setting priorities, and coordinating team members' efforts to ensure efficient and effective support delivery.
- Evaluate the performance of individual team members and provide coaching and feedback to help them improve.
- Monitor and manage SLAs, ensuring that support requests and incidents are resolved within established timelines.
- Participate in infrastructure deployment projects, such as installation, configuration, and testing of new hardware, software, or network components.
- Act as a liaison between the IT support team and vendors, Oracle team, etc.
- Handle team-related administrative tasks, such as scheduling team shifts and resource allocation.
- Schedule and organize team meetings, including regular status updates and review meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports to customers and other requested documents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong technical expertise in infrastructure architecture, system performance management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with both on-premise and cloud infrastructure services, including OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, databases, application services, and network configuration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and vendors.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator) is a plus.
