As a member of our Architecture team, your role entails assisting projects in defining their Solution Architecture. You'll collaborate with Enterprise Architects and the Engineering/Production team to review proposals, ensuring alignment with our Enterprise Strategy. Additionally, you'll oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) evolutions within your application scope, managing end-to-end solutioning for specific projects.
Role and responsibilities
You'll play a crucial role in defining solution architectures for projects and ensuring alignment with our enterprise strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading solution architecture on assigned projects, supporting Project Managers and Business Analysts throughout ideation, design, and implementation.
- Collaborating with application teams and stakeholders to design optimized solutions aligned with architecture principles and IT standards.
- Managing BAU evolutions and specific projects, ensuring end-to-end solutioning.
- Leading architecture validation processes, including documentation, presentation to architecture committees, and support until go-live.
- Serving as the reference architect for support/evolution activities on designated applications with low architecture impacts.
In addition, you'll collaborate with various roles including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, Developers, Application Owners, and Production teams to ensure architectural coherence and documentation accuracy. Additionally, you'll update reference documentation and participate in modeling activities.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 5+ years of IT experience, with a focus on Enterprise or Solution Architecture.
- Previous experience as a Developer or Tech Lead for at least 3 years.
- Broad technical knowledge across applications, development frameworks, and technologies.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture discipline, processes, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring/Angular, Oracle/PostgreSQL DB, Linux, API, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with Cloud migration, integration patterns, and high availability patterns.
- Experience with IBM Cloud is a definite advantage
- Effective leadership, planning, and organization skills.
- Interest in the Financial & Banking industry.
Plus:
- Architecture certification (TOGAF) or Cloud Architect certification.
- Experience in the Financial & Banking industry.
- Knowledge of Core Banking Systems such as ERI Olympic or Temenos Transact.
- SCRUM/Agile experience.
