Overview of role description
The Assistant Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in the finance team, working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department and support the company's financial goals.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, we are looking for a self-starter and a motivated team player with great interpersonal and communication skills who can be a valuable member to be part of the Finance team. This job function also requires someone who is highly meticulous with strong analytical skills, good problem solver as well as a good mentor and leader.
Responsibilities
1. Supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
2. Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
3. Assisting in financial analysis and reporting
4. Overseeing day-to-day accounting activities
5. Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
6. Contributing to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function
7. Ensure compliance and adherence to the Regulatory requirements.
8. Manage external professional parties including but not limited to external auditors and tax agents.
9. Mentor and develop finance team members.
10. Other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned by your line manager.
Requirements
1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
2. Proficiency in SAP will be valued.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
