Job Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and calculations
- Assist with audits by worldwide tax authorities
- Preparation and review of Malaysia income and indirect tax returns
- Assist with monitoring of tax incentive conditions for Malaysia
- Preparation of workpapers for the United States federal consolidated income tax return and state income tax returns
- Assist with preparation and review of income tax provision workpapers
- Assist with identification of uncertain income tax positions on a global basis
- Perform tax research and documentation for worldwide tax positions
- Assist with internal controls documentation and compliance
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or the equivalent
- Additional professional qualifications e.g. CTIM, ACCA, MIA will be an advantage
- Minimum 7 years tax experience in public accounting or industry, preferably with a large accounting firm or a large corporate tax department
- United States tax experience and knowledge will be an advantage
- Strong organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English – both oral and written
- Strong proficiency in tax research tools
- Experience with SAP system is a plus
- Strong technology and computer skills
