Summary
We are looking for an experienced senior network engineer to help build upon and maintain our global network and operations center. You’ll be responsible for working with several different technology teams within ASM to define and help to support our growing business
Role and Responsibilities
• Partner with peers in Network services team, other internal departments, and vendors on deploying and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.
• Evaluate, select, and implement proposed solution packages for new site buildouts.
• Advise on high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the network team.
• Develop design changes to the initial architecture based on changing requirements.
• Create and update documentation for network designs, best practices, and operational procedures.
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for networks once implementation is completed.
• Train Tier 1 support teams in troubleshooting procedures.
• Minimize network latency and maximize data throughput through design analysis and network performance monitoring tool.
• Maintain, and update network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases.
• Manage wireless networks, Network Access Control (NAC), and infrastructure monitoring.
• Research emerging methodologies to constantly improve the efficiency of current networks.
• Establish and implement network security protocols and procedures.
• Develop automation tooling to better improve our deployment and disaster recovery operations.
• Facilitate implementation of high-speed, scalable, fault-tolerant network topologies as applicable to WAN/LAN design
• Resolve complex network problems, operate network analyzers, WAN test equipment and network simulators.
• Contribute to security planning, risk analysis, and risk management.
• Conduct capacity planning to anticipate future network needs and propose necessary upgrades

• Firewalls (Fortinet)
• Proxy/Load Balancers (F5)
• Routing/WAN o Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
• Cisco Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting. (AAA) and Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)AAA/ISE
• Cisco hardware including routers, switches and wireless technology.
• Experience creating and monitoring firewall policies
• Able to manage, update, and troubleshoot Routing/Switching/Wireless networks
• Willingness to travel and ability to perform physical tasks such as rack and stack.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
