Overview:
As a Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and engage audiences across various social media platforms. You will work closely with the Director to ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives and strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility, grow audience engagement, and drive traffic to the company's website or platforms.
- Create and manage social media content calendar, including planning, scheduling, and publishing content across all relevant social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content (e.g., text, photos, videos, graphics) that is optimized for each platform and audience.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide regular reports on key insights, trends, and campaign effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, algorithms, and best practices to continuously improve social media strategy and tactics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all communication channels.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, optimization, and performance tracking.
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and influencer marketing initiatives to expand reach and engagement.
- Monitor competitors' social media activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential threats.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully executing social media strategies and campaigns.
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices across various platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in graphic design, video editing, or content creation is a plus.
