Primary Summary
The General Manager holds ultimate responsibility for the day to day running of Ink APAC, its strategic direction, financial success and every process that generates revenue. The aims of company are growth and profit, and it’s the responsibility of the General Manager to ensure that company strategy is geared towards this.
The role incorporates being responsible for leading and driving Company culture and overseeing the commercial, creative and operational team; as well as liaising with clients and conducting Business Development.
Other
To represent Ink at an Executive level within the region and globally when required. This will include regular board meetings, building closer commercial relations within the Company, including sharing best practice and wider commercial strategy.
Duties and responsibilities
· Hitting and exceeding agreed budget and profit for the APAC region each financial year.
· Setting and implementing strategic direction.
· Planning and implementing short, medium and longer-term business strategies to achieve company objectives.
· Regular review of financial performance.
· Working closely with other sales leaders at INK on the sales strategy and approach to hit all revenue budgets and profit.
· Awareness of potential threats due to competitors, market changes, and global trends with a strategy to positively navigate through these situations.
· Looking for opportunities to increase efficiencies.
· Setting company budgets and forecasts.
· Reporting results as requested and on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
· Develop new ideas and drive BD, including the creation of new inventory / clients to drive commercial success.
· Provide leadership and motivation to all employees.
· Conceptualizing incentives to drive above average performance.
· Creating a culture and workplace that staff enjoy coming to.
· Corporate governance and PTE compliance
· Awareness of all local organizations industry and authority – MDA, EDB, MOM
