Scope of work
As an executive for corporate communications, you play an integral role in the public relations, branding and publicity efforts of Ren Ci Hospital. You will be reporting to the Deputy Director, Community Engagement (Communications). You should be someone comfortable as a digital native, able to tell the organization’s story through engaging social media content, especially through audio and visual media, such as podcasts, photographs and videos. You will also be someone comfortable with designing collaterals and writing articles to engage the public, patient and key stakeholders through existing corporate and/or online channels.
Main duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop compelling stories for the organisation’s communication channels
- Support organisation initiatives with content creation, particularly for social media
- Assist in developing video content through conceptualisation, storyboarding, and coordinating filming
- Help develop, write, and produce marketing communication deliverables, such as articles, annual reports, eDMs, newsletters and proposals, etc for influencing public perception
- Support issues and crisis management, as well as stakeholder engagement within the Community Engagement team
Requirements:
- Recognised diploma or degree in Mass Communication or Journalism or related disciplines
- Strong command of both English and Chinese languages, written and spoken
- Savvy in the use of digital and social media
- Able to produce social media content using shorts videos and photographs that tell stories
- Able to help design and write collaterals, such as annual reports and newsletters
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work well with different stakeholders (e.g. team members, other departments, media, community leaders etc)
- Strong writing, speaking and presentation skills
- Relevant working experience in the role of Corporate Communications in a healthcare or similar capacity will be considered a bonus
