We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join our fast-growing D2C (direct-to-consumer) company.
The FP&A Manager will play a key role in driving our company's financial performance by providing critical financial insights and supporting decision-making across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and developing financial models to support business initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis process including forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning including close monitoring of inventories and purchase plan
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making across the organization
- Develop financial models to evaluate new business initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities
- Cash forecast and reconciliation
- Conduct variance analysis of actual versus budgeted/forecasted results and identify key drivers of variances
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on financial goals and strategies
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and board of directors
- Continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Provide financial support for mergers and acquisitions and other strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a D2C or e-commerce company
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence cross-functional teams
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Proficient in Excel and financial analysis software
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus
- CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred
- Able to handle a Start-Up working environment
