Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, propose and specify appropriate technologies and IT architectures with the aim of achieving business objectives
- Identify system improvement to ensure information quality, security, availability and accessibility.
- Manage a team of IT personnel; as well as external consultants in implementing various projects from requirement gathering, conceptualizing through to implementation and post implementation support.
- Responsible for the hardware installation, maintenance, network monitoring, capacity planning and technical support to LAN, WAN, Network Management tools, Firewalls and other communication systems.
- Plan, design, install and commission new network equipment and applications.
- Ensure that the network is stable, secure and running with minimum downtime.
- Implement effective back-up strategy for data preservation and disaster recovery to support, enhance legacy systems and provide training and support.
- Review, update and formulate IT policies and ensure policies are closely followed.
- Review user access matrix and control with proper documentation.
- Leads, formulates, develops and executes the organization technology strategy and give direction in the technology organization in the development of strategic applications.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
