Responsibilities
- Oversees accounting operations, including the review of reports and statistical analysis to track financial performance.
- Oversee both local and overseas subsidiaries and joint venture companies.
- Manage a comprehensive system documenting accounting policies and procedures.
- Assess the month-end closure of accounts.
- Implements and maintain accounting protocols to guarantee the precision and dependability of data essential for business functions.
- Assess the monthly consolidation of financial statements for the group.
- Predicts cash flow positions, assesses borrowing requirements, and evaluates available funds for investment.
- Monitor the development of the company's budget.
- Review the Annual Report
- Oversees the activities of both professional and clerical accounting staff in their daily operations.
- Evaluate monthly consolidated accounts, quarterly and year-end results announcements to SGX-ST, and ensures compliance with Singapore FRS and other statutory requirements.
Requirement
- Degree in Accounting and/or professional accounting qualification
- Min 5 years of relevant working experience
Advantage
- Relevant working experience in shipyard/construction industry or equivalent
- Process AP/AR
- Proficient in GST and MES
