Responsibilities:
- Effectively align, plan and organize day-to-day operation activities and technical operation team.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues, working closely with team members to resolve customer problems effectively.
- Maintain a deep understanding of cloud and system infrastructure supported by the team.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing, system administration, and managed services.
- Identify, resolve and escalate risks which could impact the application/system on cloud.
- Develop, improve guidelines, processes and procedures continuously to enhance the cloud production service availability.
- Identify opportunities for automation and optimization to streamline support operations.
- Ensure compliance to both internal and external SLA as well as government IM8 policies relating to ICT applications.
- Monitor key performance metrics of support team, such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction, and take proactive measures to address any issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in IT related discipline with at least 3 years working experience in IT infrastructure/operations management or service delivery, with proven track record of handling IT operations & infrastructure technical support roles (scheduled maintenance activity, security patching, vulnerability remediation)
- Working experience with technical support ticketing system with deep understanding of SLAs (response time, resolution time etc) is a must.
- Deep understanding of one or more of the following: operating system (Windows, Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), Active Directory / Domain Controller, security measures (network firewall, WAF, endpoint protection, IPSec VPN), Microsoft 365.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong thinking and planning skills including preparing and developing process, schedule, and action plan.
- ITIL certified is preferable.
- Working experience in public Cloud environment such as AWS, Azure, GCP will be huge advantage.
