Job Description
Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives in the APAC region.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial goals, targets, and budgets aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment to identify opportunities and mitigate potential challenges.
Franchise Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive pricing strategy for franchise operations across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, market dynamics, and profitability targets.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand competitive pricing landscape, consumer behavior, and pricing elasticity in different markets.
- Collaborate with franchise partners to establish pricing models and guidelines that optimize revenue generation while maintaining brand integrity and customer value perception.
- Monitor pricing performance and conduct regular reviews to assess effectiveness, identify opportunities for optimization, and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to franchisees in implementing pricing strategies, including training on pricing methodologies, tools, and techniques to maximize profitability and sales.
Capital Management and Investment Analysis:
- Manage capital allocation and investment decisions to maximize return on investment and shareholder value.
- Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships to support growth objectives and enhance market position.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency exchange fluctuations, market volatility, and geopolitical factors.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance and support to finance staff in executing their responsibilities and achieving departmental goals.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in senior financial leadership roles, preferably within the QSR industry and across the APAC region.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic financial plans that drive business growth and profitability.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to effectively engage with stakeholders in China.
