Position Overview:
- Responsible for supporting all aspects of HR operations in Singapore independently, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance.
- Management of work passes & quota, Government-paid leave, NS claim applications etc
- Perform Payroll matters and submission of government claims, grants & IR8A
- This position requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can establish HR processes from the ground up and align them with the company's goals and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in Singapore.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring activities to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Negotiating employment offers and preparing employment contracts.
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions and introduction to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure new employees have the necessary tools and resources to succeed in their roles.
- Conduct follow-up meetings with new hires to address any questions or concerns.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employees and guide on HR-related matters.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for improvement.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Prepare HR-related reports and presentations for management as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Ensure timely review and handling of insurance-related matters.
Compliance:
- Stay up-to-date on Singapore employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all HR practices.
- Assist in conducting internal audits to assess HR compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR roles, with exposure to recruitment and employee relations.
- Familiarity with Singapore employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficient in English and Chinese languages (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
