Responsibilities
· Design 3D printable prototypes and new products for R&D purpose in diverse applications, e.g., portable devices, medical devices
· Research new 3D printing methods based on material properties, particularly in metallurgy.
· Lead R&D for sustainable 3D printing materials, optimizing processes and testing performance.
· Qualify and integrate sustainable materials into 3D printing applications.
· Design diverse prototypes (e.g., medical devices, portable gadgets) for R&D purposes.
· Manage technical challenges, enhance equipment, and transfer technology to production, collaborating with teams and partners.
Key Requirement
· Bachelor's, Master's, or above in (Mechanical) Engineering or related field.
· Good engineering fundamentals and materials science expertise.
· Hands on and able to operate the machine.
· 2-3 years of additive manufacturing experience, specializing in metal materials.
· Proficient in various 3D printing technologies, especially laser powder bed fusion.
· Familiarity with Materialise Magics and quality control processes.
