Finance and Administrative Executive
TransAsia Private Capital Singapore Pte. Ltd. is a fund management firm, licensed by the MAS since 2019. The firm is best known for its private debt solutions spanning across trade and trade related value chain financing, mid tenor supply chain financing, and mid to longer tenor term and project loans. TransAsia capitalises on pre-existing middle market financing gaps left by the banking sector in the Asia Pacific region.
Summary of the position
We are seeking a candidate who can work under pressure and independently with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate must have a mindset that is ready to problem solve and overcome challenges, to improve existing processes at our offices. The candidate will be exposed to regulatory Compliance and Finance, on top of the Office Management and administrative duties.
Responsibilities
Office Management and Administrative Support
· Create, maintain, operate, and improve a range of office processes, tasks and systems.
· Coordinates with external service providers.
· Create and maintain effective tracking of documents and filing systems.
· Drafting and maintaining board resolutions, management meeting agendas and minutes.
· Work collaboratively with other departments across the firm to coordinate and support.
· Tracking of employee records, leave applications, and expenses.
· Handling work pass application, renewal, and termination.
· Other ad-hoc duties as they arise.
Finance
· Perform basic accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks.
· Undertakes payment duties including the collation of invoices and processing expenses.
· Liaise with external agents, auditors, and accountants
· Assist the Finance Manager in monthly accounts and annual audits.
Compliance (preferred, prior experience not required)
· Provide administrative and operational assistance with various regulatory compliance matters.
· Work closely with the compliance team to ensure that work and submissions are done in a timely manner.
· Keeps track of regulatory deadlines and company filing requirements.
Skills and experience required
· Minimum 3 years of working experience. Preferably in office management and accounting.
· Positive and confident attitude, willing to learn and can-do mindset.
· Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities. Ability to work under deadlines and to accommodate last-minute changes.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface with management and internally across cross-functional teams.
· High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
· Team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
· Experience working in Buyside investment firm is an advantage.
Reporting structure
The Finance and Administrative Executive will report to the COO Office.
Remuneration level
Remuneration will be market related. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a competitive benefits package and be eligible to participate in the firm-wide discretionary bonus scheme.
